Jim and Betty McNeely, the founding pastors at Bread and Wine Fellowship, have a long history working with children. Jim worked as a children’s entertainer for twelve years, traveling throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana performing magic tricks, original children’s music, and telling stories at churches, libraries, shopping centers, festivals, schools, daycares, and many other places. Betty was the lead teacher at the University of North Texas Child Development Lab for a number of years. Jim and Betty have both been featured speakers at the annual Texas Association for the Education of Young Children conference.

Beyond all of that, we really love kids! Children are immensely important to God. We want to work to teach children His heart towards them. We want our children to be biblically literate, thoroughly grounded in essential Christian doctrines, and experienced in praying and operating truthfully in the power and unction of the Holy Spirit. Your children are of tremendous value to us and we spend a great deal of effort seeking ways to lead them in the way of grace.
